Far East of Eden/天外魔境II: 卍MARU PC Engine CD (3rd Intro)

13

The 3rd intro after some bit of story has already gone by. This is just a sneak peek at my next RPG attempt after FKD is finished. Just got this in the mail yesterday. Before there’s any cultural confusion and misunderstanding, let me clear something up. The “卍” in the title is not a swastika. It reads as “Manji”, which stands for “good fortune”.

I liked the (real music) music in the game…. it was composed by Joe Hisaishi who composed all the Studio Ghibli movie

Your explanation of the celtic cross reminds me of that Pokémon card that had the manji.

Is the version on PSP a faithful port of the original?

I forgot to mention when I first saw this a few weeks ago. Awesome intro!

So this game has been remade a couple of times yet still no US release. Does Konami think Americans are stupid are something?

*Konami owns Hudson for those who ask.

  8. Toneman says:

It already has as previously mentioned. It’s been redone fully in 3D for the PS2 and on Nintendo DS in its original PC Engine form.

Gotta love this intro. I think I could recover my long lost faith in human nature if Hudson made a remake of this game for any current console.
