Pride & Prejudice to East of Eden – Rough Finished Drafts
2005 Pride & Prejudice directed by Joe Wright and starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen, also Donald Sutherland, Dame Judi Dench, Brenda Blethyn, Simon Woods, Rosamund Pike, Tom Hollander, Jena Malone, and many other wonderful British supporting actors. Set to Lee Holdridge’s soundtrack to East of Eden, which was inspirational to me through my wonderful idol Michelle Kwan’s programs to the music to many medals.

Wow!!
Finally, I find it!!
I love this music and Michelle kwan’s wonderful program.
MK made a deep impression to me.
Thank you for uploading
I downloaded off of the Michelle Kwan Forum. They have a board called “Cloud 9 Downloads”. Some are video of skating, some are music. There’s lots of good fodder for edited music there since skaters use a lot of great music and some not as well know, like Michelle’s Lyra Angelica and Song of the Black Swan.
Beautiful piece.
Off the subject, where did you obtain this music. I’ve been searching quite a few places but to no avail for East of Eden by Lee Holdridge.
Thank you so much! I wish I the time to do more. I really enjoyed it.
What a great find! Always loved the music and that movie. Thank you for creating it!
The original soundtrack to the James Dean movie composed & conducted by Leonard Rosenmann was great in its own right. I have to agree that this Lee Holdridge score for the TV mini-series of East Of Eden was even better, a piece of music of quite exceptional beauty.
Thank you Darcywil. I love you videos. Wish I had better software so I could do really good ones!!
Beautiful music! I don’t associate it with skating (was unaware that it was used by Michelle Kwan)—I just like Lee Holdridge and always thought his score for “East of Eden” was exceptional. Great video, but keep an eye on the aspect ratio of some of the clips. But, great video, and wonderful music choice!
thank you! It’s my first! Michelle Kwan is my favorite skater and she used it as a long, exposition, and famously later as a short program. She interprets music so well that it just seemed to work although I wish I had a better motif working through this. And more talent …
BTW … Skating music is great for fan videos since the editing program music ranges from 2:30 – 4:30 minutes.
Beautiful music! Nicely done
