A suggestion for your next video, a 1m11s solo from Us Against You.
You also get Sean going mental on his drum set thrown in as well!!!

The greatest Guitarist of the 90s, yet hugely overrated and overshadowed by the likes of Tom Morello and Johnny Greenwood. Not discrediting them as they are good, they just pale in comparison to our Bradders. =P

No Motorcycle Emptiness?! I know how to play it and it’s very hard – he nails it every time!

  18. PabloPJ86 says:

Haha, I thought that the first one was a demo version of PCP….

Great video, thank you so much, specially for including the one in Archives of Pain.
It’s really an insane solo. He’s a great guitarrist, and I like the fact that he joins virtuosism with feeling.

PS: Maybe the solo in The Everlasting, I know it’s long and relatively slow, but it gives me the goosebumps when I’m listen to it, or the one in La Tristessa Durera :)

James is my favourite guitarist by a long way, i love the way he managed to put solos to some of the songs in the holy bible, the lyrics are so blunt, horrific and graphic and yet he manages to play some really good rock solos over the top in a kind of stripped back acerbic way. Awesome guitarist, he has such a distinctive sound too.

not forgetting introvenus agnostic as well

  21. braddersthemod says:

Was listeneing to SYMM today and id forgotten what a beast of a solo that has toward the end!

  22. perpitbla5 says:

James is my favourite guitarist. When he talks about sitting in his room as a teenager learning Guns N Roses songs, I sat in my room as a teenager learning Manics songs.

  23. heyaevery1x says:

I’ve never really noticed that before luv but i guess your right! :D

    x x

  24. RedMachineKieran says:

I love the Manics and James is one of the best guitarists ever, but the solo in PCP is almost identical to the one in Motown Junk! Just listen and see

  25. michailangelos says:

“”black dog on my shoulder”,it is at the end of the song and it is not that loud, but it is one of the best.simple and great”
