I think Elvis Impersonator deserves a mention
I think Elvis Impersonator deserves a mention
What about ‘Us Against You’? It is a cracker.
Favorited. BRILLIANT showcase
Faster is the best solo ever! mindblowingly good!
I think so….
I know what you mean.. and i totally agree!
james is the greatest Guitarist its unfortunate that nobody has heard of him..
Hes always number one in my book (L) x.
Good video.
All i will say is ARCHIVES OF PAIN!!
Autumn song…Perhaps his best solo EVER!
comfort comes has a good solo.
A suggestion for your next video, a 1m11s solo from Us Against You.
You also get Sean going mental on his drum set thrown in as well!!!
must agree with you 100% one of the best guitarist ever
Very talented man. Great singer and also a great guitarist.. the manics june 4th the olympia Dublin cant fn wait. onion rings. ha ha ha just wanted to hear the auido preview say dat.
My 3 solos of his are drug drug druggy, roses in the hospital and donkeys
The greatest Guitarist of the 90s, yet hugely overrated and overshadowed by the likes of Tom Morello and Johnny Greenwood. Not discrediting them as they are good, they just pale in comparison to our Bradders. =P
No Motorcycle Emptiness?! I know how to play it and it’s very hard – he nails it every time!
Haha, I thought that the first one was a demo version of PCP….
Great video, thank you so much, specially for including the one in Archives of Pain.
It’s really an insane solo. He’s a great guitarrist, and I like the fact that he joins virtuosism with feeling.
PS: Maybe the solo in The Everlasting, I know it’s long and relatively slow, but it gives me the goosebumps when I’m listen to it, or the one in La Tristessa Durera
James is my favourite guitarist by a long way, i love the way he managed to put solos to some of the songs in the holy bible, the lyrics are so blunt, horrific and graphic and yet he manages to play some really good rock solos over the top in a kind of stripped back acerbic way. Awesome guitarist, he has such a distinctive sound too.
not forgetting introvenus agnostic as well
Was listeneing to SYMM today and id forgotten what a beast of a solo that has toward the end!
James is my favourite guitarist. When he talks about sitting in his room as a teenager learning Guns N Roses songs, I sat in my room as a teenager learning Manics songs.
I’ve never really noticed that before luv but i guess your right!
x x
I love the Manics and James is one of the best guitarists ever, but the solo in PCP is almost identical to the one in Motown Junk! Just listen and see
“”black dog on my shoulder”,it is at the end of the song and it is not that loud, but it is one of the best.simple and great”
