what makes of mice and men by john steinbeck a good book?
there was something about its popularity in schools as a good measure of how its a good book
and i was thinking something
because steinbeck has a unique style or writing
and there’s a lot of contrast between the characters and themselves (dynamic characters)
but i’m not really sure…
if you could help that’ll be great :D
thanks (:

I am doing an essay on two of Steinbeck’s works, and I would like to know which book(s) contain the best literary criticism (in terms of analysis, themes, whatever) on:

1. Of Mice and Men

2. Cannery Row

3. John Steinbeck (overall)
