Business Week went so far as to claim that Oprah’s influence is 20 to 100 times more important than her next nearest competitor. The numbers are unmistakable, which at the height of the book club craze were estimated to be close to 500,000 extra books sold a month in the US.

i want to read the book East of Eden translated in french , do you know whats the name of it in french please :) thanks

I saw the movie as I wanted to see the turtle crossing the road, then the kid get eaten by the pig, or the brother given baking soda, the broken windows. But it was a let down inspite of James Dean.

I have to write a response to this question for english class and I’m a little confused any ideas? If you’re going to be rude please do NOT answer.

How does the land and what is represents affect the characters of East of Eden?
