Originally having met in Ballyfermot’s music college the duo have since been crafting a rather unique and interesting sound. Recently WO E’s latest work has been attracting a considerable amount of attention. Their debut single “Everyday Thing” which was recorded and co-produced by Karl Odlum (The Frames, Kila, Fionn Regan, etc) will be hitting the shelves on the 10th of August. It has already drawn in the likes of TV3’s “Ireland AM” who have invited the duo to perform live on their set in the coming weeks. East Coast Radio and Newstalk are also among the cast who will have the couple sharing their wares. The quirky bouncy arrangements and soul searching lyrics coupled with distinctive melodies and interweaving harmonies is what distinguishes West of Eden’s sound. Trailer for the second of two films that will complete the story of the summer anime hit, Higashi no Eden (Eden of the East). The film is set to be released in Japanese theaters on March 13th, 2010. The first film, Eden of The East the Movie I: The King of Eden opened throughout Japan on December 19 — three weeks after the original scheduled date of November 28. The second film was expanded from 60 minutes to 90 minutes and pushed back from January 9 to March 13. The television series and the films feature Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex director Kenji Kamiyama and character designer Chika Umino (Honey and Clover). Funimation announced at the Otakon event last July that it licensed the original television series for North America.
